Veedersburg -- Services and burial were held in Valparaiso for John F. Sullivan, age 85, of LaPorte, a former resident of Veedersburg. Born in Veedersburg, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Sullivan. He was married to Florence Huff of Veedersburg, who preceded him in death. The couple operated the Sullivan Cafe in Veedersburg for several years and later moved to Crawfordsville where he owned a clothing store. Since his retirement as a men's clothing salesman in LaPorte, he had resided with his daughter, Marie. Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Gretchen Faulkner of Valparaiso and a brother, Dr. Paul Sullivan of Attica. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. -- typed by Walt W
